A trip to the park

We had a trip to Rother Valley Country Park yesterday. For some reason Big refused to go on the swings.

The park has a sailing centre, I would like to go and do a course and I think Big would too, but it looks like she will need to be nine plus to do one, which will give her time to practice swimming, I suppose.

Mouse report. What do bean bags have in them? Rice, apparently. The mice knew this, Jax didn’t. Not until she cleared out the two wicker baskets on the shelves in the corner of our living room. The repellers seem to be working, we are getting progressively less indication of the continued presence of the little sods. I mentioned, I think, that the leaflet says it can take two weeks, so hopefully they all have their bags packed ready to go visit our neighbours. We have had a series of warm winters, I assume this has had the effect of increasing the national mouse population.

You could’ve made a start on your sailing with paper boats on that puddle.

  5. Bob says:

Nice photo of the sailing centre, although the lessons would be rather short.

  6. Nicki says:

Blimey it would have taken all my strength to keep Isaac away from a puddle like that!
