I think I know

why Big doesn’t get to do anything much else once she starts on writing. 15 minutes in, and we’ve got once sentence written out.

30 minutes reading took 45 today by the time she’d fallen off the sofa, crawled around the room and so on.

Big will be having a touchtyping session later, but writing is not optional - we’re trying to improve her concentration and ability so that she doesn’t have to spend so much time on it at school. Share the pain :)

(oh, and she’s done the 5 sentences now, took about an hour with breaks for screaming in her bedroom )

    I think we’ve got a spare Club t-shirt if you’d like one? :/

This morning at breakfast K stood up on his chair and said “Daddy, for Christmas I want one of those T-shirts that goes” and then he waved his arms about wildly and made motorbike noises with his mouth. I was a bit puzzled until J explained that it was the Australian air guitar T-shirt thing
