I don’t quite know what to make of this

webcameron - first blog.

Sounds an awful lot like the background noise when I’m working from home though

Fascinating for the stuff in the background, I guess I’m just nosy. Like the washing hanging on the clothes airer touch and the Ecover washing up liquid. Wonder how much it’s staged. He comes over as a nice chap, but they often do at first, on the surface, and then you find out what they think deep down and go off them completely LOL.

It’s certainly an interesting approach. I know DC has been accused of trying to be “hip and down with the kids” (I believe that is correct phraseology) but the younger generation communicate primarily (it seems) via technology in this way, so if using a medium they can relate too is being hip, then go for it DC.

Of course, one also has to wonder if this is just PR (that’ll be my middle-aged scepticism emerging ;) ) and if he does actually take any notice of comments made via his blog. A case of watch this space….

If he is taking the comments seriously the the next installment ought to be either Dave in the Bath or Dave actually finishing the washing up….

I was intrigued at someone starting the washing up without rolling up the sleeves on their cufflinked shirt ;)

Who was operating the camera? How many Tory PR people were out of shot? And what were the comments they all made when discussing it afterwards when they were debating if they had to shoot it again? (Did little one’s interruption spoil the flow too much, or was it worth it for the he’s-a-real-father brownie point?) Well done to him, and I’m glad he’s not a stranger to his children or to the washing up, but …
