Win £100 Visa Card with DC Super Hero girls.

my superhero alterego Super heroes are big news in our house and have been for years. But it has been an issue that there aren’t any girls to speak of in the media, they don’t feature in films, comics or TV series (and let’s not get started on merchandise) – Smallest particularly feels that that is an oversight. And to be honest, I don’t think it helps boys to only see men as heroes. I’ve noticed though that things are gradually changing – and if you’ve got children in need of a wider variety of peoplecartoons to look up to, then you need look no further than DC Super Hero Girls. DC Entertainment’s latest animated series features a dynamic group of young Super Heros on their journey of discovering the power of their unique abilities and friendships. I’ve been exploring this afternoon, and while I could wish for slightly more realistic shaping, I do like that there is a wide range of characters available from strong and fearless to edgy and fun; there is a character for everyone.

The series launched in October on youtube, which means that you’re not tied to the TV to watch your new favourite characters – they’re on the DC Super Hero Girls YouTube channel making it easy for kids to watch on-demand, and from any device. If you want to check it out, click here

To make the fun last longer, there’s a dedicated DC Super Hero girls website with games (apparently my superhero alterego is Batgirl, looks just like me, right?), free printables to download and more – take a look here and don’t forget to subscribe to the channel.

So, are you ready to win with DC Super Hero Girls? To celebrate the launch, I’m taking part in a giveaway where you could win £100 VISA Gift Card! That’s got to be worth checking out, right? Follow the instructions in the rafflecopter widget below, and good luck!
