That's not my bear #100books

Book 2 – 98 to go. I need to set up a counter!

Smallest was very fortunate to get two of this series from her aunt and uncle this Christmas. They are lovely books – we’ve had many of them from the library in the past. That’s not my bear is pretty popular – it is about bears though rather than teddies. (I’ve a feeling there is a that’s not my teddy too.) I rather like that having different bits of them feely means that an association is being formed with different words – so in this book we get to practise nose, claws, and ears among others. Again they are a nice size to handle, and good solid books that last well with toddler handling. Which is good as they are getting a lot of handling.

On the negative side, I do wish they didn’t have sandpaper sections in them – am I really the only person with a sandpaper sensitivity? It quite literally makes my hair stand on end, even just the thought of it. (And yes, thinking about it enough to write about it is making me shudder…) But apart from that, there’s not really anything to complain about in these books – firm family favourites.

The boring small print…If you don’t want to miss out on any of the news on the challenge, please sign up to my rss feed – there’s an email link over in the side, or you can sub with a reader. I’m also on twitterusing the hashtag #100books and facebook.

If you want to donate, please feel free, there’s a link in the sidebar or you can use this one. If you’d like to join in with your own version of the challenge, please leave me a comment to let me know so that I can link to you. And also, the booklink above is an affiliate link, but it’s set up with its own tracking id, so anything bought via a 100 book challenge link is separate to those usually on my blog, and I’ll be donating that money through to Oxfam as well.
