I have run 1.54 milies in 14mins 50 secs.
I have had breakfast and lunch, as has the baby. And she’s had two feeds.
I’ve changed a nappy, showered (with the baby) and dressed us both.
I’ve done washing and hung it out, and brought dry washing in.
I’ve written eleventybillion blog posts in my head (thanks @karamina for the number!) and two halves on a computer.
I’ve decluttered unused singapore maths books via twitter.
I’ve had a tantrum (not terribly proud of that one).
I’ve not killed any children, or even caused them bodily harm (which is quite impressive under the can’t-find-any-pants-again circumstances).
I’ve read blogposts (about miscarriage), glanced at twitter and entered a lego competition.
I’ve facilitated education (Stop playing and get on with some work! 10 minutes later – yes 382 points is enough for today. I thought you were going to do nano though?)
I’ve said rude words about my computer and wordpress. Insert slightly impolite word for part of anatomy of your choice at this point.
I’ve soothed tears, cried, checked hurt thumbs and bumped heads and done too much shouting and not enough cuddling.
I’ve failed to offer IT support – did you know you can’t view the calendar on windows by double clicking on it if you’ve got a limited user profile? It just tells you you haven’t got the required privileges to change the system time.
I’ve taken things away from the baby, played games with her, and been exasperated with her and both other offspring.
I’ve remembered yet again why I blog. It’s to get all this stuff out of my head. I’m not going to win awards for my writing, but I do make connections that I can’t make any other way, and that is more than enough. Most of the time. (Although I doubt very much I’d turn awards down if they were offered 😉 )
This is my life. What’s yours like?
