I have managed to find one of the several items I’m looking for for the morning. Well, I’ve actually found 4 D batteries, but as they all need to go together, I’m classing them as one item. And I only found 2 of the 4 that Big was given, but I found another 2 from a cupboard, so I’m hoping that will do.

She’s lost her recorder book. I’m a bit cross about this. It might be on the sofa, this should be a motivation to clear the sofa. Instead I’ve been sitting here reading blogs and cuddling the cat. Well, at least it was relaxing.

I do need to find the letter that the insurance company sent me though.

And I forgot to put the washing on. Not putting it on now though, it would just give me an excuse to stay up even later, and I’m planning to be in bed by 11. The wind disturbed me last night, plus that old empty half of the bed.

Managed the drive in pretty well this morning. The kids were stunned by having to get up on a Monday morning and were practically comatose. This is not necessarily a good thing. They were very quiet on the way back as well, which was good as it was doing that irritating can’t quite decide how hard to rain thing, which plays havoc with visibility.

The day in between these drives was unmentionable, so let’s not mention it.

The cat is eating one of the kid’s pictures. I do wish he wouldn’t do that.
