Sniff, splutter, achoo!

Not going to work today – don’t think my colleagues would appreciate the glory of this cold. Always good when you ring in sick and actually *sound* ill enough on the phone for them to comment 😉

So a quiet day at home I think, with the beautiful offspring. Think I might potter my way through some paperwork, and consider getting a bit ready for Chrimble.

After I find the paracetamol!

  1. ((hug)) Colds are horrid!

  2. Now, now… no paracetamol – how about infusion of elderberry? Much better for you 😉

  3. rofl at Merry!

  4. Aww, hope you feel better soon.
We got a letter from tax credits today saying our payment is going down by about £40 but no idea why. Plus they’ve given us a £100 lump sum this month??? Why change anything??? Plus they’ve been banging on for ages about the working tax credit stopping getting paid via his wages, but today it says it still will. I think. Argh!!! Who knows what they are playing at!!

  5. Forget the elderflower infusion… whisky toddy is what you need 😉 (and one for Small too if she’s still poorly….)

  6. Ooh, yes, as long as it’s Irish whiskey 😉
Nice in a hot cup of tea.
{{{hugs}}} Hope you feel better soon… unless the time at home is worth having the cold! 😀
