Quiet recovery day.

We didn’t have a lot to do on Tuesday, which was a good idea, as the kids needed a quiet day. We did need to trek into town as a certain someone was getting older the next day, so we needed a little something or two 😉 Thankfully it dried up rather – I think a trip earlier in the day would have required wellies or swimming costumes!

As it was, we made it all right and enjoyed a pleasant stroll in the end. Small is not desperately impressed with the idea of getting presents for other ppl, but in the end very much enjoyed choosing what he chose, and he picked very carefully with the recipient in mind. He also had a voucher from his cheerful meal from the day before that entitled him to a Night at the Museum 2 activity book for £1, so he was very happy to pick that up at the same time.

Back at home and they made cards, but we forgot about wrapping paper, so that had to be done in a hurry the next morning!
