Got a tent out of the garage. Put it up 🙂

It’s still sound, and I rather think we’ll be using our Vango Vista on our forthcoming camping weekend, while we continue to ponder the perfect tent. Our difficulty is that we don’t want to have lots of tents, not least because that would cut the budget for any of them. So our ideal is one that will do 5 of us for a weekend or a week, can be put up easily and quickly by one adult, and taken down similarly, can cope with the winds of west yorkshire (!) while also having space enough for living in when it rains during week long camps. Hm, don’t want much, do I?

Weather was lovely. C and her two came round, and we all spent time outside in the sun, not least because I was putting up tents 🙂

  1. I think I want similar. Am hoping our evolution will do the job though. I really wanted something I could bung an extension onto when going away for longer periods, but I can probably get a porch type thing for this one so that might do. Need a not windy day now to put it up!
