friendful day.

Yesterday turned out to be a day full of ppl. I was up early in the morning and headed off foy my podiatrist appt with soa. As the physio said, my legs have a 1cm difference in length. She takes 3 measurements as she says it’s very difficult to get consistent differences – but with me all of them came out with the cm difference.

So now I have a raise and some arch support things as apparently my feet roll in. And she thought that doing yoga to improve core strength sounds like a good plan, so there’s an incentive to keep up with that.

By the time I’d got home (via a quick stop of at Sainsbury’s where I guaranteed a summer of floods by buying early sunsuits) Big’s swimming and Brownie friend C had been dropped off – I do like being able to be helpful in school holidays 🙂 She is in between Big and Small’s age and gets on with them both, so that worked pretty well. As she was being picked up, Small’s friend R was arriving – a moment of confusion ensued as the two mums met, as they share a name 🙂 He was here for several hours and the two boys enjoyed watching Small Soldiers together, only slightly annoying to those of us who’d had to sit through it the day before!

And so that was Thursday.
