  2. that too, but then again, I don’t remember that being in the guideline books on what to teach before your child starts pre-school. And boy, do I wish I was joking 🙁

Oh, how I *wish* I could find a link to the article on the front page of Sunday’s telegraph (Stella let me down too – was hoping she’d get there first, lol) about plans for schools to start teaching children how to be ‘nice’ to each other in special lessons just for that purpose. And there was even one ‘expert’ quoted as saying what a joke that was as children aren’t sent to school to learn how to be nice, but to learn to read, write and be numerate. Was a very bizaar article.
