A day of much tidying.

I spent Weds trying to persuade the children to tidy their room. Seems incredible to think that this took a whole day, but as Big spent the morning stropping in and out while Small played and watched Bod and then I spent the afternoon persuading him to sort things while she played or read or did whatever elsewhere, it did indeed take a full day. Hard to believe, but it wasn’t completely finished by the time I ran out of energy and patience!

It was much better though. And if I could get Small to not play with hard toys in bed, not just shove them over the edge when I say it’s sleep time and put his dirty clothes in the wash when he takes them off, it would be much easier to keep it that way. But there you go.

Big had Brownies in the evening, not sure what they did, but they did have the shield for having won first prize in the collage competition judged on their fun night. So I took the camera to pick up and got pictures, which have come out very dark, am beginning to wonder if I’ve changed a setting on the camera 🙁 Hoping that they can be rescued with a bit of techno wizardry, but I hate fiddling with pictures, so it won’t be any time soon.
