  1. I love this song! Brings back great memories of growing up in Berlin & my friend who knew all the words. If he’d written it at the end of 1989 he could have put in about the Berlin wall coming down as well as going up.

    I was listening to a Billy Joel CD on both the way to and from work today. Not Stormfront mind. I think things started go rather badly wrong for Mr Joel from An Innocent Man onwards. I was listening to Turnstile (1975) which is a essential pre-New York visiting music and easily in my top five favourite albums of all time. Billy also got a reference in a work meeting yesterday.
