I just told my boss

that I was logging off to try to pretend to have a life.

I’m not sure staring at a not updating scrabulous screen qualifies. 😕

Hey, I’m socialising, right? I’m having a game (and conversation) with my ex boss, that I haven’t seen in 4 years. And another with my best friend from school who lives in York (actually we’ve got a buy one get one free set going atm). Tim isn’t thrashing me right at the moment, but that’s probably because the game I tried to start with him is the one that won’t update.

I need to get out more.

  1. well, it could be worse, you could be eing interviewed for a post tomorrow that will take up even more family time, fr miserly more pay and still not know why you’re doing it? except that it may contain an escape route.

  2. maybe we should both get out more!
