(Urban) Landscapes

Last week when I went to town I had some time to spare, and I explored a little and found some awesome almshouses, and hidden spaces. This week I went back with an actual camera, and after I’d been, discovered the theme of the gallery at Sticky Fingers this week is landscapes, so it was too good to pass up on joining in.

(sadly, the camera card is upstairs in the office, and I’m downstairs being tired right now, so the final picture will be added later!)

This first one, I love peeking through fences and walls. This whole area is closed off behind a very weathered board fence, for no apparent reason. But I found a hole…

More captive wildflowers. Are they breaking in or breaking out?

And an odd perspective. As anyone who follows me, well, pretty much anywhere, will know, I’m a fan of skies. Particularly at 4 o’clock. My fascination with them has led to me looking up a lot more than I ever used to, and it’s a great idea as you see the most interesting things. How about this for an unusual perspective on some terracotta decoration on an old building?

Temporary fourth picture to see if it fixes my broken twitter card.

  1. Such gorgeous pictures. Love the unusual shapes x

  2. These are just lovely Jax. You forget that landscapes come in all shapes and sizes and don’t just consist of trees and rolling fields. Just lovely x

Thanks Tara. I do love looking for the overlooked these days, if that makes any sense!
