Today we have learnt

  • that spam robots do not take Sunday off,
  • that practise is pretty much the only way to play the piano,
  • how to use the contents page in a book to find something you are looking for in it (and what page numbers are for),
  • that we don’t always win games,
  • that Mummy doesn’t appreciate being shouted at (OK, we probably haven’t learnt that, but we’ve run through it a time or two).

Mummy has learnt that she’s really good at procrastinating and doing nothing. No, actually, I haven’t learnt that, I’m just reminding myself of this fact again. Wonder if I’ll ever learn not to do it?

Ah well, off to deal with some of the symptoms anyway, in the form of washing, washing up, and excavating the kitchen, living room and some of the bedroom and bathroom.

Bleargh. Sunday as a day of rest sounds like such a cool idea.

  1. Ah, I wondered where the spambots had gone, they’ve pretty much left me alone for a bit. I see they’re visiting you.
I’ve learned that my bank has changed its on-line banking system and that the new system *sucks* :-

  2. Jax, Thanks for the info (re importing to blog), will check that out later tonight 🙂
