Today Matthew, I will be a Butlins Ambassador!

Way back last year at Cybermummy I applied to be a Butlins Ambassador. I was really surprised to be chosen though! And it’s taken til now for me to get organised enough to actually go on one of our breaks but this weekend I’m taking the children to the Ocean Hotel at Bognor Regis while poor dp stays home and does DIY. Quietly. Without having to drive for several hours. And with no children underfoot.

Did I say poor dp? Hm 😉

I’m sure the children and I will have a whale of a time. Given that I’m 8 months pregnant and flying solo with three children including a toddler, I’ve wimped out on the self catering and will be exploring the dining plan options. I think I deserve a couple of days off cooking anyway 😉 I’ve remembered to ask if there’s wifi, and there is, so I can continue to treat you to my blatherings from there, and other than that I have little planned.

Except maybe a stop off on the way to pick up some videos to watch on the widescreen TV in the room. Oh, and I must remember to pack the bath bombs – we don’t have a bath here so the ones I was given for Christmas have been languishing unloved – but there’s a bath/shower in our room, so I’m going to treat myself. Maybe I’ll get to take a long bath while the children are watching a film after I’ve tired them out swimming then stuffed them full of food someone else has prepared and cooked…

Can you tell I’m looking forward to this?

Disclosure – as an ambassador I get two breaks paid for at Butlins, in return for blogging and tweeting about them. Opinions remain my own.
