the rest of the day

More Monopoly Junior, then they found a Smarties gift set with Ludo in it and played that, and then there was some Geomag-ing while they watched Blue Peter, Newsround and something or other else that I forget.

Big has done some more reading, and they’re both reading in bed now.

Overall it’s been a good day – I tried to do some maths and ground to a halt on two line notation for isometries. (No, I have no idea either. I’ll let you know if I get there.) I got irrationally annoyed by some idiot on an email list being a fool about software development and blew a quick fuse at him. I wanted to go to the library but the kids didn’t want to leave the house so I grumped at them a bit – guess they’ll grump back when I drag them out at 8.15 in the morning. Hm, wonder how impressed the busdriver will be if I can’t find any change before we go? Might have to borrow bus fare off the children!

That’s assuming that I can get myself upright by that time in the morning, and that I’m not green in a corner from trying. I’ve been really wobbly today, so I’m not looking forward to the whole experience, still, we’ll see.
