The next big thing.

I’ve been tagged by Anya at Older Single mum to talk about the next big thing I’ve got planned. We’ve kind of started it already, but it’s definitely big, and I’m really enjoying the challenge.

Basically, I’m now officially part of our family website business. I’m in the Sales, Marketing, PR role, trying to spread the word about our excellent deal on wordpress based websites. We’re offering an affordable site, £150 for the installation, configuration and so on, with £8 a month for support with hosting.

Need to understand your plugins? We’re there to help you. Change your mind on theme with the first 90 days? You get a do over. Don’t want it to look like a blog? Easy.

There are, so I’m told, 1.5 million small businesses without a web presence out there. They think they can’t afford it, don’t know how to manage it, that it will be too hard. We want to prove it doesn’t have to be that way, and give them the tools they need to survive.

I’m really excited by this venture, and it’s great to be working with Tim on it. So if you know anyone needing a new website, feel free to send them this way.

Now I’ve got to tag some other people. Hm. I’m going to ask Rachael, Kirsty and Chris to tell us what’s their next big thing.

  1. This is great news, a great idea and especially great for people like me who are crap at it all! Are you interested in support only for a friend of mine who got a student to do her website but now he’s moved on? thanks for taking up the tag and passing it on. I wish you very well in your business, which is no only a Big Thing, but a brave, fantastic thing! I know you’re brilliant at what you do.

    1. Good question. I’ll ask Tim what he thinks to that one.
