Times are hard, as I’m sure most of you have already noticed. In the process of setting up a new business venture (feel free to take a look over at our wonderful website package and sign up or tell other people about it) we’re not rolling in spare cash at the moment. So I’m doing my best to build up a Christmas pile in a variety of other ways. I’m entering competitions like a good ‘un, and I’ve signed up to be part of the Tots 100 #SwagbucksChristmas challenge.
So what is Swagbucks?
It’s a loyalty site shopping/ competition site like you’ve seen around before. But instead of getting cash back directly on purchases like with TopCashBack (who are currently offering £15 per referral, feel very free to sign up via my lovely link here!) you can earn Swagbucks from a variety of activities, like using their search box (hopefully there is one in the border to the left there if you want to try it), joining them on Facebook where they give out codes, completing polls, watching videos and so on. Once you’ve earned enough Swagbucks, you can exchange them for rewards, or buy tickets in sweepstakes to win prizes. I haven’t tried that bit yet, I’ll let you know how I get on when I do.
One of the biggest ways of getting swagbucks is via referrals. I’m hoping that won’t cost me in the long run, I know I’ve got some seriously savvy competition out there.
Mostly what I’m going to do though is talk about the various ways I save money or win presents online, and Swagbucks is likely to be just one of those routes. Hopefully you’ll find this series of posts useful and not just want to ignore me for ever for being overly competitive.
