Solstice skies

image

The sky at 4 o’clock tonight was the most amazing shade of dusky pink. And if it hadn’t been for my alarm to take the photo, I wouldn’t have looked up to see.

I wanted to do something special with the solstice. I haven’t quite managed it yet. But the nearest dawn is tomorrow at 8 am, so I’m thinking I’m going to head to bed now, and get up early in the morning, go down to the sea and watch the solstice sunrise.

Happy Solstice to you all.
