I was kind of tired after yesterday so I had a good lie in this morning, and the children pretty much amused themselves. Actually, they pretty much amused themselves all day – Small’s bedroom is a whole lot tidier than it was last night, so that’s a good thing. Big is trying really hard to be lovely atm, and it’s working pretty well, so that’s helping too.
I’ve been gradually working my way around the kitchen tidying up – amazing how slow I am at tasks I don’t like 😉 I’ve even worked my way through a number of boxes from the hall, producing some charity stuff, some recycling, one carrier bag of bin stuff and several empty boxes. Now that’s a very good thing, especially as many of the boxes that we brought here didn’t really survive the journey or the damp cellar and so I can’t use them to pack up again.
We’ve got some kind of a plan put together for the week ahead which means that I’ve just got to keep paddling. Then once we’re moved I can start paddling in different circles 😉
