{driving} first to drop Big off for exped, then home, then off to the first Suffolk bloggers meet up where I was available to give tech advice, but apparently it mainly wasn’t needed. Ah well. The people I did speak to were lovely.

{watching} Herbie fully loaded on Netflix for family film night. I do have to say that Netflix just smoothes out the corners of entertainment in this house. From Tim and me watching Once upon a time on an evening, to Big unwinding over Merlin, or Smallest enjoying Heidi (animated. I’m not sure I approve.) it is very often in use. And painless. So much choice. Sometimes too much (nearly 30 minutes debating film choice tonight!).

Anyway, Herbie was lovely, nothing unexpected, good fun. Although Tigerboy was briefly traumatised – he gets very involved in things. Emotionally invested in the fate of a car.

{teaching} reading. Smallest is coming around to the idea that it could be quite fun. And what she can do, Tigerboy needs to do. Why does it always have to happen at bedtime?

{practising} sketching slightly more complicated objects. Toys, to be precise. Rather enjoyed it, must do more.

{reading} no. Oops.

Love this yoohoo mail subscription box idea as seen at Suffolk Blogger Meet. Particularly the camera print 🙂

Snapshots

Big is away on her first Duke of Edinburgh training expedition – I’m hoping it’s not raining quite so hard wherever she is as it is here. She sprained her wrist this week, possibly by partially dislocating it, turns out she’s hypermobile, which we’d suspected for a while, but have now had confirmed. Small is really taking off with programming, surreal moment this morning while I was trying to butter toast, and he came in to the kitchen and started asking questions about how to variably address different arrays. (He is very lucky to have a qualified and experienced java programmer on hand 😉 )  Smallest is showingrenewed interest in reading and drawing, and Tigerboy is charging along behind  which is both fun and challenging all at the same time.
