RNLI

I have just been watching an RNLI advert.

“Every day the RNLI rescues 20 people from the sea around our coast.” It said.

No, what I want to know is, what happens if you are number 21?

And what does the RNLI do if not enough people turn up as drowning candidates. Do they have a supply of extra ones they can chuck in at short notice?
