Need support for your home ed journey? Looking for tutoring for your young person? Have an idea for a collaboration? I’d love to hear from you!

After 20+ years of home educating my four children (two now adults), I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that I’m passionate about sharing. Beyond blogging and guest writing, I offer several services designed to support families on their home education journey.
I’ve put together a collection of resources that I’ve genuinely found useful over the years—things that have actually made a difference in our home education. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to freshen things up, there’s something here to help. These are the tools, guides, and materials I’d recommend to a friend, because they work.

oops 8/10. Got the explosive car one wrong and the get off the motorway. DOH!!
ooops – 7/10 – as helen and um… one other… had a giggle at “complex roundabout ahead” though.
I’ve had to brush up on roadsigns, both the big girls are obsessed!
10/10 Woooooo!!!!!! 🙂
7/10 – is that explosive one for real???
7/10 too and ditto to Merry’s comment – Davies is obsessed 🙂
10/10, it’s a man thing 😉
Can’t be a boy thing Chris – I got 10/10 as well. I think it’s a highly competitive thing – so where’s Sarah??
Making sure Steve’s dinner is on the table when he walks through the door?
He’s not home yet (and we had dinner at lunchtime)!! Haven’t done it yet, hang on a minute …
9/10 Got the hand signal one wrong, which, she doth protest, is not a road sign anyway 😉
I got 9/10 too. Mixed up the waiting with the parking.
Good job there were no speed limit signs, I never can remember what they are supposed to mean.
ROFL tim
rofl, and how about that white one with the diagonal black line on it – that one means ‘foot flat to the floor’, doesn’t it?
6/10 🙁
I got 9/10 but then I did read all the comments here first 😉
10/10 But I did read some of the comments here first. Never seen the exploding car one before, how bizarre! But the other answers for that sign didn’t fit with it’s shape. Have to tell Mark what all the signs we come across mean too.
9/10 – same as Sarah, didn’t know the arm signal.
Had seen the exploding one recently on the Highway Code website – had to show Elijah all the signs – another obsessed one!
Woohoo 10/10 here.
9/10 for me. Same as Tim for me – mixed up the parking/waiting thing. Very topical for me as my new employee is taking his theory test and failed it today! That was due to the hazard perception test though.
10/10. At least I know I’m safe to on the road now. 🙂 lol
