guess everyone else is off having a life 😉
Been relatively quiet here today too. My parents popped over for a dress fitting this morning – Big will be sitting around with a lead weight on her head for the next two weeks, as there is absolutely no space in that dress for her to grow. Should have gone for the age 7. Ah well.
Then it was lunchtime and they watched bear in the big blue house for a while. I finally relocated some washing from the machine to the line, and I even found the energy to do some gardening. Got a little more hacked through on the hill, harvested a pile of nettles (no idea whether they are actually worth harvesting at this point) and shifted some rubble round to the back of the garage. Even weeded some more of the drive.
It all fell apart a bit at bath time though – I was reading some more ballet shoes as requested and I got tired of having to raise my voice over the screaming. Big didn’t take well to me stopping, so that was kind of the end of her day 🙁
And we’ve vegged tonight, watching Zorro and now Lost. 🙂
