Proud mummy moment

Dd went to ballet today, and got her score sheet on her exam. She got a very good in every section, and was highly commended overall. I’m so proud that I did shed a few tears. 😉 (Plus I glanced over the shoulder of some of the other children and checked that they didn’t all get the same!)

Otherwise it’s been a bit of a boring day for her – I’ve had lots of bits of things to do round the house and on the computer. I was ebaying this aft (and some more to do just now) and I was amused when she spent 20 minutes or so weighing various small toys on the scales, so I guess I can still tick maths for today. Then she had ballet, so that covers P.E and socialisation, and grandma came round for tea, so the day finished well for her.

Small is a bit off colour – nothing I can put my finger on, but not quite right. He enjoyed seeing Grandma as well though, and very much enjoyed staying at home with daddy on a one to one while I took dd to ballet. He’s asleep on the floor just now, so I’m going to take a little break and take him up to bed, then it’s back to decluttering via Ebay. Might just have to declutter the end of the wine bottle from the table too!
