  1. I’m not sure I can make a proper comment on that one without being very rude.

  2. Ditto. It made me feel very very cross indeed. I’ve had the misfortune to come across people like that in real life, with no compassion or understanding, and it’s maddening.

  3. Bloody hell! Hope he’s got a bomb-proof trench to retreat to – what an idiot.

  4. Tempted to see if I can find an email address for him and post it…

  5. i was wondering if he is going to be the next ed minister?

  6. No, he is not smug enough.

  7. I can trump that load of twaddle…. found the other day, on a site which claims to be “dyslexics.org.uk” although it’s actual web address is nothing of the sort (it’s here http://tinyurl.com/8f2n4k ) For a site claiming to be about a well defined and researched condition it spouts some stunning tosh and then recomends a specific synthetic phonics system which, wouldn’t you know, the site author happens to be a tutor for….and on further squinting at the awful typeset (quite obviously she doesn’t believe Meyers Irlene syndrome exists either 🙄 ) she is a FORMER trustee of her local Dyslexia Action, no doubt they asked her to Foxtrot Oscar when she started telling them taht their problems didn’t exist

  8. “no doubt they asked her to Foxtrot Oscar ”
