not a very festive eve.

dp stayed up very late fixing the media centre. I took twiglet laden baby to bed and fed her to sleep about 1.30, and she then slept for about 5 hours I think, or possibly even longer. As this is rather a rare occurence these days I didn’t actually feelmuch better for it, even after the extra couple of hours I got after that first feed.

Should have been a sign of things to come when Small came in and sais Big wasn’t feeling well, but I was hoping it was just excitement. Sadly not – she has had a raging temp all day, and redecorated the hall for us late morning before retiring to bed where she’s been ever since. This is not like her at all, so I’m just hoping she sleeps it off and is feeling a bit better tomorrow.

So it hasn’t been a day full of excitement and doing. We didn’t make it to the crib service, nor have we seen any of the rellies yet. I did crack open the sherry to go alongside the wapping, but then the baby woke up, so the wrapping is still waiting for me. Baby nearly asleep now though, so I might get wrapped up while Tim is out at the midnight service.

So I can only hope that the vast majority of you out there have had a better day, and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
