Christmas dinner

image

After a very late night (baby and I finally keeled over about 4) and then an early morning (Big woke up and was ill at 7.10) we finally got up to face the day at 10ish.

Presents went down well, particularly soa’s first baby doll. And somehow we made it round to D and S just a little late. Big has spent the day watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang while everyone else tucked into a truly scrumptious dinner. Soa in particular enjoyed everything. Big had a little bread and then a very small ham sandwich and seems to be coming round, though slowly.

Despite this, it’s been a lovely day.

Sorry to bring a low note into the proceedings, but just wanted to say that my heart goes out to the family of Jo Yeats in bristol – so sad that #helpfindjo couldn’t have a better ending.

Best wishes to all whatever you are celebrating, and now I need to concentrate on the family quiz…

  1. Merry Christmas to you too! Your post brings back memories. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was the first movie I ever went to see, so it’s a special movie to me. Hope Big liked it!
