News from the Big Top, Beppo writes

Today’s word?

delegate assign a task to (a person).

Or otherwise, get some other sucker to do all the work. Big appears to be of the opinion that it is me that needs to learn all this stuff. Having decided that she wanted to do a card for mummy and got me to write out the text she managed one letter before deciding that it was too much like hard work. She did come back and finish it later, admittedly.

I rather think that what she is angling for is to have a children’s entertainer on permanent duty, I think the subtext of the cute little memo to mummy could probably be nicely paraphrased as “The supply Beppo is not a patch on the old Beppo, come back soon”. Funny. because I don’t ever recall Jax going round with a red nose, well, apart from at the wedding reception last weekend, of course.

Having said that, we did end up doing some worthwhile reading and some “penmanship” (isn’t that a nice posh name for practicing writing?). I think I can also label hogging the computer from Small as IT, but I suspect that the learning value of the baby software I put in for Small may have been limited.

Summary, really rather a nice day. 🙂
