Was long, but I survived. Don’t really want to go into it in detail here, going to arrange a more private space very soon. Nothing bad to relate, just don’t want to turn this into Dooce 😉

Got home to spend time with my gorgeous offspring, and read books with them (Rattletrap car; Hand, hand, fingers, thumb; Hold tight) and Big then proceeded to reread Hand hand twice more. And I *think* Small has gone to sleep in a bed in their bedroom (not the one I had planned, but hey, small details.

Think I’m not gonna be long behind them.

Thank you all again for your emails, comments, phone calls, texts (and waves 😉 ) – I have never in my life felt as loved and supported by so many friends as I did today. I didn’t feel alone or lonely. You’re all wonderful. 🙂

  1. You are loved! And I don’t even really know you – how scary is that?! Seriously, it’s nice that you blogged, given how tired you must be, and it sounds like it wasn’t too bad, and glad that you returned to ‘gorgeous’ offspring, as opposed to whiney and annoying. Good luck with the rest of the week. Hope you sleep well.

  7. Completely OT message for Tim – sorry to hijack blog but am at work and can’t email!
Tim – we’ve run into a problem with camera/photo software, thought you might have an idea or know of something that could help.
Steve bought a new camera for the garage which takes photos in 6×8 format (whatever that is in pixels – 3008×2000 or something? it’s a Nikon D50, anyway). Our advertising website only takes photos in 640×480 format. Without going to huge hassle (running files through two different software things) we’ve been unable to quickly alter the format of the images. Do you know of any software that would do the job quickly and easily?
Annoyingly, our crappy 4 year old 1.3 mp camera will take 640×480 photos, but this new all singing all dancing digital slr won’t. Any ideas gratefully received – you can email through to office@theusedcarspecialist.co.uk 🙂
Thanks! But don’t worry if you don’t have any easy answers/time to find one, we’ll work on it too.

  8. Jax I’m glad it went well 🙂 You’ll be in the swing of it before you know it 🙂

  9. I’m glad the first day went well too – long may it continue.

  10. Glad it wasn’t so bad. Hope today goes just as well and the kids continue to be gorgeous!
