Well, near enough. I go to London tomorrow.
I haven’t packed. Thursday is swimming lesson day and pizza night. And there were children to feed and change and educate. Miles to run, to work off the irrational angry mood I woke up in. Shopping to get and bills to pay.
So I’m taking my Bibee breastfeeding dress to wear. I bought tights. No idea what I’m going to put on my feet, think I threw out my dress shoes the last time I wore them and they rubbed holes in my feet. I’ve got a NetBook and a baby. That should be all the accessories I need, right?
I’m nervous. I’m always nervous before these things. What if no one talks to me? What if someone I’m supposed to know talks to me and I don’t recognise them? What if the baby won’t be calm enough to let me be expert enough and my brain turns to marshmallow and leaks out of my ears?
Ugh.
It’ll be fab. There are lots of people going that I know, and more going that I want to know. And I am an expert. I know my stuff. Anything I don’t know I can find out.
Do hope there is somewhere to plug in my NetBook though.
Are you going? See you there. Fill in my linky. Join my twitter list. 🙂 and make sure you say hi!
