More political stuff, Mark Field on home ed.

Conservative MP Mark Field leads debate into home education and home education review.

Conservative MP Mark Field sets out the concerns being raised in his Westminster Hall debate on home education.

On January 19, the Department for Children, Schools and Families launched an independent review of home education by Graham Badman, former director of children and education services at Kent County Council.

This debate took place today, between 1 and 1.30 in Westminster Hall. I already have an alert set up against theyworkforyou that should notify me when the transcript comes online, I *think* I look forward to reading it.

And I find it deeply worrying that the Conservatives appear to be the only party to take home education even slightly seriously :(, as we’ve discovered before.

ETA should have read all my emails. Here is the preliminary version of the debate, online already.

  1. I honestly never imagined i would vote Conservative again, but i did last week, as a protest against the Children’s Database and if this man can infect the rest of the Tories with his opinion, i guess i will be again.

  2. Another new Tory voter over here as well :0
