Meetup in the (Hoxton) Powder room.

There’s a competition over at In the Powder Room to win a Cybermummy ticket and accommodation. I already have sponsorship, but I’ve friends that don’t, so I thought I’d take a quick go at it.

There’s one question. Who would you most like to meet up with in the Hoxton Powder Room, and why?

Now, there doesn’t appear to be a limit to how many ppl, so I thought I’d grab a couple, or more, and throw a bit of a powder room party. I’d go for my sisters. All of them. Because there’s one of them that we can’t meet up with anywhere (except in a magic powder room), and if I was going to get to see Katrin again, it wouldn’t be fair to do it without the other two there too.

And then because we’d only get overly emotional otherwise, I’d have to chuck in some eye candy. Katrin and I could fight over Jon Bon Jovi, and reminisce about me taking her to an open air concert in Gateshead, and accidentally burning her to a crisp (definite drawbacks to being ginger!), or I could let her have him if I could drag River Phoenix along too. (I’m assuming we’d locked the door by this point.) I’m not entirely sure who the other two would like to bring along – am assuming that we’re all past the Take That crushes of our teen years, so I’d have to get them to put their own requests in before we stepped over that special threshold.

Although to be honest, I think we’d all only have eyes for Katrin.

    1. Maybe more present in some ways emotionally because of the physical absence.

  2. Aw, love this! Damn you for entering the comp too 😉
River Phoenix and Take That, a girl after my own heart x

    1. I don’t think anyone has anything to worry about from this late entry tbh. Glad you liked it though.

  3. Lovely post Jax. In memory of sisters who left too soon. Never been sure how to describe myself as a sister without a sister.

  4. What a gorgeous post! Much deserved winner!
