Bob isn’t a person. He’s a bag. My new Briiliant Outdoor Bag in fact. He’s rather cool, and kind of the next step on from a changing bag.

He comes with a changing mat, in this case in orange to match his funky interior, but he also has a padded pocket for your laptop or tablet. Which makes him a rather more grown up alternative. Because of this he isn’t quite as capacious as some changing bags I’ve tried before, but he coped adequately with snacks for three, nappies for two, and a netbook for me on a recent leisure centre swimming club outing.

He also doesn’t look like a changing bag, which extends the lifespan rather. He still has straps to go over a buggy handles, or a messenger style Cross body strap complete with mobile phone pocket. (You’ll need a smaller mobile phone than my Samsung Note 2 though. Although that does fit nicely into one of the three pockets on the front. )

There are lots of handy pockets and pouches, although I did think that the bottle storage could have been a bit deeper. I daresay it would hold a baby bottle, but water bottles are a bit tall and can fall out in transit.

Overall, I’m fond of Bob, and he has rapidly become my bag of choice for a day out. I add in a wet bag for any messy clothes (would be a nice addition for future editions) and we’re good to go, but I look a little less babyfied I think. Not such a bad thing.

You can buy him online here.

Disclosure. Received for review. Opinions are mine. I will be adding pictures when my phone stops messing about and hiding them.
