Last firsts

Baby is out of her head hugger now in the car seat. She’s much happier as she can move around a little even when fully strapped in. And when I took the hugger out I discovered how long she is 😯

She started the dropping game the other night as well. You know, the one where you set them up in a chair with a number of toys and you turn around to get on with something and you hear the toys hitting the floor behind you. It’s adorable, for about five minutes, then quickly becomes hard work, and the baby of course finds it funnier and funnier each time.

Biggest achievement was two evenings ago when I put her in her chair while she was grumbling and she grumbled and sucked her thumb right off to sleep. Self soothing baby, now there’s something new! Do you think it will catch on?

I agree. I’m still doing it 35 years on, and I have absolutely no intention of stopping.
