Just visiting

The 21st century.

And I suppose it’s good to flick a switch and have light, to turn a tap and have water, to have access to the Internet.

But the community I’ve left behind this evening is harder to replace and leaves more of a hole than any mod cons I live without when I’m there.

Just saying.

  1. You were born in the wrong time and place Jax. You should have been a kibbutznik. Looking forward to hearing more about your week away. xxx

I’ve wondered about that. I do need a little space to be silent, at kentwell I can retreat to my tent. So perhaps a moshav – is that the right word?

      1. Totally the right word – I’m amazed you know it. 🙂

I’ve put together a collection of resources that I’ve genuinely found useful over the years—things that have actually made a difference in our home education. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to freshen things up, there’s something here to help. These are the tools, guides, and materials I’d recommend to a friend, because they work.
