Just one comment?

and himself gets 5 on his body count! Harumph, whose blog is this anyway?

😉

Much better journeys to and from today, although it didn’t amuse me to see the queues at the petrol station at the top of the hill. I can go back and forth two and a half more times, then I’ll have to have petrol – I’d rather do it Weds evening, which I think is going to be the worse possible time to do it.

Bugger.

In other news, children had a great day out with Sarah and still made it to our puddlers group, though I think Tim filed my carefully prepared list of instructions, so nothing else made it there with them. Oops.

I got home in time to briefly catch up with Sarah, bath the kids and read two chapters of a Ballet Diary to Big, and a Beautiful bunch of bananas to Small. They then played musical beds for a bit, so hopefully they’ll sleep in in the morning again.

Night all.

  1. Went past yours on the way home from PIL today and couldn’t believe the petrol queues. Marcus was getting quite upset and worried about them for some reason. James is hoping to fill ours up really early tomorrow on the way to work. Not sure if that willwork but we can try.
Missing you all, had some lovely chats with Big today at group (nothing huge but nice to talk to her iykwim). Hopefully we’ll catch up with you at the weekend at this Tudor thing? Hope so 🙂

  2. We all had a fab time. Kids even came up with some stuff they want to do together.

  3. Oh no, have i missed something. Why are there petrol queues?

  4. because fuel has gone over £1 a litre in some places, so the fuel protestors are coming out to play.

  5. There, you’ve got 5 now too 🙂

  6. Making it 6 so you feel better!

  7. I don’t know these comment whorers :-).
I was running on fumes and couldn’t believe the bloody queues and the amount of stations actually closed in our town.
I have to say I am pissed of at the cost of fuel, and the different ranges of cost. I paid 93.5 yesterday and saw it up at 99.9 at other stations. Huge difference.

  8. We’re paying over a pound a litre already, and have been for a week or so. Someone told me they’d seen 106, but the highest I’ve piad is 102.

  9. time to buy chickens and run on manure!!

  10. So is anything actually happening re fuel protesters, or are people just panic-buying in case there are problems?

  11. I don’t think people here are so worried about fuel protesters – and we’re used to paying more for fuel than the rest of the country anyway – here, they’re just trying to get stuff (including buying fuel) done before the next round of riots starts…

  12. Just panic buyers I think, and didn’t see any tonight. All got full tanks now I guess.

  13. you mean the petrol stations were open? All round here have shut 🙁

  14. one at the top of the hill was open, didn’t pass any others.

  15. Tesco was quieter but Sainsbury was organised – had a bloke directing people so I managed to fill up on the way home.
