it vaguely resembles a plan.

We have a van booked for tomorrow, Tim will be doing a tip run from old house while I try to pack things here so that when Bil is here thursday morning, they can load the van for a suffolk run thursday or friday morning.

I feel like I have achieved nothing today – the house is littered with half full boxes, and bags of stuff, and it looks worse than ever rather than better. I did do another charity shop run and get rid of 8 bags/ boxes plus recycled some tetrapaks, but most of that came out of boxes out of the cellar, which is good in that I now have 5 boxes sorted and packed and 3 empty, but bad in that I still haven’t found the paperwork I’m looking for, there are still many boxes to sort, and the rest of the house is a tip.

Sigh.

In the midst of this the children played outside, at Harry Potter. They listened, to Harry Potter, and just for a change, this afternoon they watched (who’s with me?) yes, Harry Potter. This too will pass 😉

Small is very cross that Tim has packed up his (Tim’s clothes) as he doesn’t want to move to soon to be house. I’m not sure whether that’s just a doesn’t want to move at all, or a specific doesn’t want to move there, he’s not desperately rational in discussing it.

Big is trying to be helpful and thoughtful, and bless her, is mainly managing. She really can be quite lovely at times.

I still can’t figure out how this is all going to happen, nor where all this stuff came from, or where it’s all going to go!

One response to “it vaguely resembles a plan.”

  1. I remember one time we moved house, I couldn’t be bothered to pack anything and purposely left it until the last minute, so that I had a deadline. The girls watched 2 days of back to back videos but I got the whole house packed in 2 days. They haven’t suffered – well, not from that, anyway 😉
I’m sure you’ll get there … just please take it easy even when you are working hard, you know what I mean!
