I'm gonna start a lost property box 😉

Jan, we’ve got M’s socks 🙂

Lovely, lovely day. Jan was meeting up with her older offspring here, who had been away for a week at Jonathan’s parents. They arrived at the same time, which led to lovely hugs and so on in the garden. Then we all went out to lunch, and had a wonderful time at a local beefeater pub. It’s a family pub, rather than a play pub, which meant it was ever so quiet, but the food was surprisingly good – I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian option.

The girls were supplied and resupplied with balloons, and we moved outside for pudding. Small, still not quite himself, didn’t eat anything, but otherwise it was a very successful day out.

Came back here for coffee and for the girls to all run around a lot, while Jan examined my wool stash. 🙂 Then after coffee, they rounded up and headed off.

Only slightly less than successful moment was just as Tim and I were standing at the door waving them off – there was a crash and screaming from inside. Turned out Big had stood on my computer chair to try to reach a balloon. The chair had moved itself and she had landed hard on the floor. Looks like my sister may have a multi-coloured bridesmaid next week, but we don’t think anything is broken 🙁

Now, I think I’ll try them on some toast and chuck them into the bath. 🙂
