I want to learn to paint a sunset.

I want to sing and dance and jump, not trudge in this occupied body, out of breath and aching.

I want to create and play and grow. I want to take pictures that make me go wow, to write poetry that breaks ppl’s hearts and mends them again, to finish books that ppl read and love and share and give.

I want to be all the things I dreamed of being when I was 21 and have the energy and courage I had then to actually achieve something with my life.

I want to fit all this around raising my children.

I want a magic wand.

  1. Can I borrow the wand when you’re done?

  2. I know this probably won’t help but just wanted to say that you *are* achieving a lot. Every meal in a child’s tummy, cuddle at bedtime – they are achievements. I do know what you mean about dreams though. I can remember times when mine were little when I just wailed with exhaustion and frustration. Anyway, get someone to make you tea, rub your feet and tell you how excellent you are!

  3. You are doing so much. If you find a magic wand, can you send one my way 🙂 x
