Humpday and downhill

Let’s see. Small was kind of clingy this morning, not helped by the teacher? asking him to keep his feet off the mat he’d rolled out. He doesn’t take well to being asked not to do things, so he sat in a huff for a while, and eventually I sneaked out of the room when he wasn’t looking. I did hover outside for a while and there was no outcry, so I guess he got over it really quickly 😉

Reasonably successful day with a couple of breakthroughs at work, although it did mean that it was touch and go to pick the kids up by six. Which also then meant that we were very late home, and Small didn’t wake up throughout being undressed and redressed in pjs, while Big just cuddled up with Tim for a story. Second chapter of Princess School I think.

Quiet evening once again debating possible futures, think we’re probably going to be doing a lot of this for quite a while :-/ and there were quizzes and writing and tv to watch, so somehow it’s tomorrow already.

Oh, and Small took a chunk out of Big’s face today while at school, so he went back into the toddler room at that point. I guess he might be ready for the manipulatives, but not quite ready for the focus of the approach iyswim. I think they are going to play it by ear for a week or two. They both brought home lovely piccies though, of them gardening. 🙂
