in the hope that shaming myself publicly might increase my productivity today.
This is the living room – six photos taken now. I’ll try to take the same six shots at the end of today.
Grief it looks bad. Joyce, don’t view the piccies, or not until there’s some after ones to show improvement!

What a great idea! Need to make sure your camera’s flash is working for the full glare of publicity though 😛
Only one it didn’t work on was the one aimed at the front window – too much light coming in I think. Just as well
It’s not *too* bad, mine has looked like that on a very bad day (well, our old house looked a lot like that a lot of the time!).
Anyway, look forward to seeing piccies later 🙂
Hey it’s not so bad, I can see carpet 🙂
I particuarly like the ‘from front towards kitchen ‘ one with the big pile of apparently random stuff 🙂
I couldn’t resist…..
ROFL!! what you need is emergency storage! I use plastic bags and cardboard boxes, but the randomness of the filing system often lets it down!
maybe on the way back from work, with paycheck in hand, a wander into the swedish emporium may help!
Oooh thank you, thank you Jax, I feel so much better for seeing that 🙂
The plastic bag and cardboard box pile is the one that I’ve just spent most of the day trying to excavate. And I haven’t even dared to make a start on the
corridordining room. Glad to be of service Jenny, I think, and Joyce, it actually looks worse now, but I’m hoping it’s going to look much better very soon.Slight hitch is that I needed to clear the table as I’m also cooking a roast dinner, and we need somewhere to sit down. I’m currently perched precariously on Winnie the Pooh and last years IKEA catalogue…
To make you feel better, Jax, I think I’ll take some pics of my living room as it stands right now …. and I don’t have plans for tidying up!
lol Jax – you moved into our house? looks just the same!
A bit late coming to this – well behind on blogs, but he he he that looks like my house even down to the bookstart bag!! Although you seem to be missing plates of half eaten sandwiches and half drunk milk.
No you just can’t see them under the other stuff. We lost a plate a year or so ago and it hasn’t turned up yet.
