First Christmas party

for soa 🙂

Realised it was also the first time that I’d made it out to someone’s house with her, apart from relatives round the corner anyway. And that was only a pitstop to pick up the other offspring.

We all had a lovely afternoon, thanks to N for laying on games including a festive pin the nose on the snowman 🙂 Big had a minor wobble over the idea of challenges in the pass the parcel but was persuaded to join in and enjoyed herself then. Small sat out musical bumps but I didn’t think that was such a bad idea 😉

Lunch was fab as always, and the drive home in heavy snow was only slightly hair raising. I do wish that ppl would work out the difference between fog and snow. Also didn’t quite understand why the lorries were in such a rush to get to the stack area, definitely a case of hurry up and wait.

Today the children have mainly played out in the snow, while I have mainly nursed the baby. She varies her hunger levels hugely, and today has been a hungry day.

[post interrupted to feed baby, rather proving the point!]

Interruption and now naking so typing one handed means I’ve totally lost the thread (as well as the plot and my marbles) so I’ll end here.
