Family and boxes.

Boxes are rather a theme to our lives atm, and I’m getting heartily sick of them. Tim is away down to Suffolk with another van load of stuff after a day of loading with my sis and her hubbie. Have to say that they’ve really got us back on track, and both worked like trojans all afternoon, and I’ve just struggled on.

That was after yesterday doing various bits (can’t actually remember what now) and then going, via Leeds, down to old house to pick up yet more charity shop stuff and then go over and have tea with my parents.

I should point out that the trip to Leeds was to pick up boxes, and Tim said I’d never find the place on my own, and I did, drove right there (and without a satnav!) 🙂 Think I’m allowed a smug moment over that.

Oh, and we dropped into school to say goodbye to ppl, which was slightly surreal, not least as they were all dressed in pjs 😉

Today has been slightly depressing. There’s something like 10 bin bags out in the yard that need to go to the household waste recycling site (no such thing as a tip any more) and there’s still at least another van load of stuff here in the house to go down to new house. Then there’s the cleaning to do and then when we all get down there there’s a whole load of unsorting to do. Hohum. Looks like it’s going to be a fun few weeks ahead.

Anyways, I’m really really tired, so I’m looking forward to this film being over, so that I can process kids into bed, and then head for bed (well, mat on floor) myself. And start all over again in the morning.
