Easter Sunday

We’ve been out for lunch and the afternoon today, round to Tim’s brother and sister-in-law’s for a lovely meal and then an afternoon of sun and chat. Well, the younger ppl went out in the garden, I went and sat in the front room with the older generation.

Not quite sure what’s been wrong with me today, I’ve been extremely light headed and woozy every time I’ve been on my feet, meaning that sitting down quietly has featured heavily. The children have had a great time, they got a Divine egg and a Lindt rabbit each, and we got to catch up with their cousins. S had been very thoughtful with her meal choice for me, and had done a flan with roasted vegetables on top (ie not something that smelled strongly!) and I managed most of it, then topped up on two helpings of homemade Bakewell tart, so I did feel I’d done the food justice. I’d been rather worried about going round, but it was fine really.

Kids played croquet, then sat on sunloungers, read, played and had a lovely time, and when they started getting tired and grouchy, we extracted them, and brought them the five minute walk home, so much better than a three hour drive 🙂

And that’s been our Easter Sunday. However or whatever you celebrate or don’t, I hope you’ve all had lovely days.

  1. oooh! Congratulations! How exciting! I hope you get into the groove real soon and aren’t put out by the hormones for too long. *does smiley dance*

  2. wooziness/dizzyness is quite common i think – could be low or dropping blood sugar level? if you’re feeling sick a lot and consequently not eating very often, that could be it… something small that you can tolerate (ginger often made me feel sick, actually, but maybe ginger buiscuits, or toast or something) every hour, hour/and a half should help…
