As many of you are aware, 😉 I've been doing some sponsored articles on the blog. They've been via ebuzzing, part of the wikio group of websites, and the current campaign is actually about them, as they are looking to recruit more bloggers 🙂
I've found it reasonably straightforward to use and there's been plenty of articles to choose from – it may seem like I've been flooding you, but I've actually turned down/ ignored nearly as many campaigns as I've blogged. I've particularly enjoyed writing articles about innovative campaigns from companies like the Coop and Sony/WWF and there is a good range of brands represented on their site. I don't do the click through posts, but there are quite a lot of those too, where you can just put a video on site, either in a post or on a sidebar and you get paid per click on the video.
All you have to do is write your article, either on your own blog or in the editor on ebuzzing and then once it's approved publish to your own site. You do have to make sure that the post is exactly the same – cutting and pasting best route here as it's validated automatically. There's a strict code of ethics in disclosing that your articles are sponsored and the payments tend to be around £30 – £40 a post, not to be sniffed at especially if you've no other income while you are at home with your children! It's easy to sign up, and you get email warning of new campaigns, so you don't even have to monitor the site. Some campaigns do fill up quickly though, so it is worth keeping an eye open.
If I've whetted your appetite, you can find out more on ebuzzing.co.uk
