Last night I showered. I washed my hair three times. After ten days of being a tudor it was a really lovely experience. The feeling of clean pjs and my own bed was heavenly.

I can’t enter the comp as I’m not in the UK but we used to use Vosene when I was a child in the late 1960s/1970s. My dad would get a big industrial bottle of it. I seem to remember it being called Loxene and then changing the name to Vosene at some point. We are talking 45 years ago and I still remember the smell of it on my hair – I bet they’ve changed the scent since then.
I googled it – Loxene was a company that stopped in 1972. Then we switched to Vosene which is another company. They didn’t change the name – we changed brands. Just in case anyone was interested :/

We are camping next week, then going away to Belgium with extended family to celebrate my parent’s Golden Wedding Anniversary. I’m sure swimming will feature at some point! With Anna’s hair being curly i find after-choline washes a bit of a nightmare. I wonder how vosene would score?!
We are going to the North Yorkshire coast so will be on the beach, in the sea (we hope!) and in the pool.
We are going to swimming at the seaside! So this will be great!
